In 1904 Mr. G.J. Nijhuis founded a repair shop for textile machinery in Winterswijk, the Netherlands. In 1930 Nijhuis, started to design and produce pumps under the name Nijhuis Pompen BV. In 1940 Nijhuis developed the gas generator for cars, which were widely used during World War II. In 2006 Nijhuis Pompen BV became part of Norit - 'Leading in Purification'. In 2011 - Nijhuis Pompen BV became part of Pentair Inc.

Our fire protection pumps and packages are used on oil platforms, floating refineries / barges, jetties and floating Production storage & offloading. Our customers include leading sprinkler installers, engineering firms (contractors), airports, power plants, industrial and (petro)chemical companies requiring fire pump packages.
