Services is an essential part of our company and speed is always of vital importance. Our service department offers financially attractive service and maintenance contracts. These contracts guarantee that downtime in pumping installations is kept to a minimum. Resulting in a cost saving operation for our customers. Our services vary from incidental service visits on location, to breakdown repairs and maintenance on a contract basis, including stock control of spare parts for groups of pumps (total care maintenance).
Our Services department carries out the installation and commissioning of complete pumping stations, pump rooms and pump installations. In close cooperation with our Engineering department, our Services department is equipped to supply complete mechanical and electrical installations on a turnkey basis.
Our Services department can carry out inspections on site on an incidental or periodic basis. State-of-the-art measuring equipment is available for this purpose.
Our Services department repairs pumps on site or in one of our four workshops. The services available range from a 24-hour service to contract maintenance. Spare part stock can also be managed on behalf of third parties. As a result, we are able to work with guaranteed repair times at fixed prices. In addition our Services department offers the option of carrying out modifications to customer specifications in collaboration with our Research & Development department. We do not restrict ourselves to the repair of our own pumps, we also undertake the general overhaul of a customer's entire quota of pumps. With our engineering capabilities, we can execute pump modifications to customer specifications of pump designs of most manufacturers.
Our Services department supplies all spare parts for the Pentair Fairbanks Nijhuis brand worldwide. Thanks to an in-house foundry - in which a large proportion of the spare parts can be cast in various materials - the actual standard of service offered is high and we can:
During the life cycle of a pump Pentair helps to keep the lowest possible energy costs by means of professional vibration measurement and early repair of possible defects. Vibrations are expressed on the three measurement variables: displacement, velocity and acceleration. Vibration measurement reveals the actual condition of new, existing or rebuilt pumps and other rotating equipment. The services of our experts with many years of experience in this field, enables a correct evaluation of the trend and spectra graphs obtained through measuring.
Worldwide we train users of our products in the field of installation, operation and maintenance. These training sessions for management and service technicians are held on site or in one of our service centres in The Netherlands. Because we have on-going contacts with various users in many applications, our service engineers are equipped to provide existing and new customers with information regarding improvements in the technical and organizational aspects of maintenance.
